Dear friends,
For far too long now, America has been controlled by Right – Wing extremists, preaching hatred, fear, racism, religious bigotry, corporate militarism and social injustice. Too many citizens of this once exemplary democracy have been persuaded by the completely corporate-controlled media as well as the so- called “Christian Rght “to support this extreme Right Wing movement that is being pushed more and more into the mainstream .
Soon after stealing the 2000 election, the Bush administration planed to attack Iraq, remove Saddam Hussein from power, and install a puppet government in Bagdad. All in order to take control of iraqi oil fields and build military bases around them. they needed an excuse to do so which was given them on September 11, 2001.
They used this horrific event that claimed 3000 innocent lives, to their political
advantage and started the so –called “War on Terror”. besides Iraq they also invaded Afghanistan killing, imprisoning and torturing many innocents. At the same time, the Patriot Act was passed by Congresswhich took many civil liberties away from civilians. After
many their illegal actions could no longer be hidden, in November 2006, a
majority of the American public stood up and took the control of Congress out
of the hands of the Right-Wing Republicans in hopes of ending the war in Iraq that was
now going terribly wrong. However, the newly-elected Democratic majority
refuses to this day to take significant action against the war. They also
refuse to hold the criminals in the Bush regime responsible for their actions.
So please, join me in my strong opposition to this brutal regime and its
supporters and appeasers.
